juice variety from South India mainly Telangana & Andhra Pradesh. In Telugu, Pedda means big & this variety is huge fibrous & juicy, sweet with a tangy tinge. It is greenish yellow in color & gives out a sweet aroma when ripe. Best for juices & milk shakes. The juice is also had with Chapatis, Pooris & typically with Dosas down south.
About the Farmer:
Avani Vanam is spread on 40 acres of land, owned by Linga Prabhakar Rao situated at Velpally, Telangana. They've been practicing natural farming from many past years & currently they are cultivating mango variaties like Dasheri, banganpally, coconut mango & himayat. Other than these he also cultivates sweet lime.
