Banganapally hails from a village of the same name in Andhra Pradesh. These mangoes have a pulp that is fibreless firm & yellowish with a sweet juicy taste. Banganapally mango was the first to bag the coveted Geographical Indication tag (GI tag). They are mostly used to make juice, sorbet & ice cream as they are highly rich in the pulp.

Ravi Sagar has been doing natural farming for the last 6 years in Peddagudem village, Vanaparthi district, Telangana. For 5 acres of his land, he is cultivating Banginapally variety of mangoes & apart from this he also grows Guava, Papaya, Watermelon & Seasonal vegetables. For Soil enrichment he is using Jeevamrutham & Panchagavya, and NSKE he uses for pest repellants. His farm is NPOP certified.
