Hallikar is a breed of cattle native of karnataka the breed is considered as as best draught breed in southern india. It is commonly found in the traditional Hallikar belt of Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan and Tumakuru districts.
Hallikar cattle is one of the two breeds, along with Amrit Mahal which have received the royal patronage and care from the erstwhile rulers of the princely State of Mysore.
We source milk from our farmers those who are having only native breed of hallikar cows, we prepare ghee in a traditional way like milk to curd to butter to ghee process we use only wooden churner to extract butter from the curd.. we maintain 100% pure and hygiene.
Interesting fact : Due to resurgence in popularity of the breed a prize winning Hallikar bull was recently sold for princely sum of 75 lakhs !
