Chausa Mango - Organically Grown - 2 KG
Fruits
Chausa is a mango cultivar which originated in Bihar and is now predominantly cultivated in Uttar Pradesh in India and Multan in Pakistan - both India and Pakistan lay claim to be being the origin of Chausa though !
Also called "sumer bahist," this variety of mango was originally made popular by Sher Shah Suri. While commemorating his victory over Humayun, at the battle of Chausa, Bihar - he gave his favorite mango the name Chaunsa.
The fruit is almost fiberless, and has an aromatic, pleasant, sweet flavor. Commonly available varieties in India are greenish-yellow. The unique taste and richness in its flavor makes it a worldwide favorite. Overall, fruit lovers consider it a close competitor to the Alphonso for the number 1 spot, because of its rich aroma, sweet taste and juicy pulp. This mango is heavily exported to Middle East, United States and Europe.
We bring you Chausa from this famous vintage mango orchard near Bhopal - Kalapani Mango Orchard. The orchard grows 15+ varieties of mangos without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
