This oil is made by cold-pressing naturally grown groundnuts, with zero chemicals, from the farmer's own farm. Cold-pressing makes sure that the fatty acid bonds in the groundnut do not get destroyed, keeping its heart-protecting abilities intact, along with vitamins and minerals. You will find a mild smell of groundnuts in the oil. Cold-pressed oils have a lower shelf life than usual oil - you should plan to use the oil within 3 months of purchase.
This groundnuts are grown without chemicals at highly regarded Jagadeesh Reddy's farms in Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh. He has been following natural farming methods in 40 acres of land.
