We bring to you these dried figs cultivated by Fayaz Ahmed in his farm in Anantnag. Fayaz grows Almonds, Walnuts, Apricots, Cherry and a small number of Apples in the small patches of lands he owns without use of any chemicals or pesticides.
These are sun dried. Since these are not treated with sulphur bleach like commercial dried fig, they might not look as vibrant or brightly coloured as the ones usually available in the market. You can store them in dry air tight container for 6 months.
