Winter's favorite delicacy is here !!
Tender and sweet seeds of jowar freshly plucked off the pods. We will not be sending whole pods but the seeds plucked off the pods so that it is easier and less effort for you !
Between the months of December to February tender stalks of Jowar (Sorghum) are ready in farms. These tender jowar stalks are roasted/barbecued in hot coal ashes and then the roasted tender jowar is called as HURDA.
This hurda is then served along with chutney (desiccated coconut garlic with dried red chili) and curd. Hurda is very tasty and urbanites participating in Hurda parties in Maharashtra have become commonplace of late !
Pre-order this if you plan to throw a Hurda party in Bangalore !
Note : Once received
1) Open the packet and spread the hurda on news paper and air it for 30 minutes (Not under Fan )
2) Keep in fridge (Not Freezer) in closed container(like steel tin)
3) Kindly consume in couple of days.
