SEE MEMBERS
Homemade mango jam is a luscious, sun-kissed preserve made from ripe, juicy mangoes that are slow-cooked with natural sweeteners and a touch of citrus to bring out their tropical flavor. Free from preservatives, artificial colors, or synthetic thickeners, this jam captures the true essence of fresh mangoes, making it a wholesome and flavorful addition to your pantry.
Crafted in small batches, the jam starts with handpicked mangoes – often badami mango known for their sweetness and rich pulp. The fruit is peeled, chopped, and gently simmered to perfection, allowing its natural sugars to caramelize and develop a rich, golden hue. Lemon juice or lime is commonly added to balance the sweetness and naturally preserve the jam, while optional spices like cardamom or cinnamon may enhance its aroma and depth.
About Farm:
EBTL is a restoration effort in Tamil Nadu by Rain matter Foundation. It spans 68 acres of undulating land between a forest and the CT Palli village near Veppanapalli town in Krishnagiri district.
These mangoes will be at raw to semi-ripe stage. Since these are allowed to ripen by keeping them in rice straw each fruit will be at a varying stage of ripening. Ripe mangoes will have an aroma and will turn orangish yellow.
