Neelam Mangoes are known for their beautiful shape, taste and divine floral aroma. This mango is large in size and oblong shaped with pointed base and golden yellow color when ripe. The flesh is deep yellow or orange.
Interesting fact : Neelam” name means “blue”, but the fruit doesn't look blue at any stage and nobody is sure why it got its name. Neelam comes in at the end of mango season.
These are fruits from off season flowering which are normally ignored due to minimal quantity.
About the farmer:
Ashraf is a natural farmer from Malapuram, Kerala who's cultivating mango, nutmeg & bananas in his 12 acres of land without using any harmful chemicals.
