Tamarind pastes or concentrate is used to flavor curries, chutneys, sauces, beverages, and marinades. It is also essential in condiments like Worcestershire sauce and in various candies and snacks. In some cultures, tamarind is sweetened and eaten directly or turned into refreshing drinks.
About Fram:
Aryan farms is a 2 acre 6 gunte land in a village called Sagade near Chamrajnagar, Mysore. After lot of searching and researching for 2+ years, we got started with baby steps towards "Natural Farming/Permaculture ".
Our farm has 4 big naturally grown tamarind trees, 22 grown coconut trees. We have done fruits multilayer plantation of Banana - Elakki and Nanjangud rasabale sourced as bud and not tissue culture, pomegranate, Guava, Jack fruit, Mosambi, Anjeer/figs, papaya. We are growing vegetables in small portion of land.
It is our effort to "Save Soil" by bringing life back to her - Living soil. This land is our child and a mother.
