Prakriti Ganesha - 9 inches Right side Trunk
Peeta Ganesha Idol of 9 inches height with trunk to the Right side of the Ganesha. This means that when you are facing the Ganesha the trunk will be to the left.
Ganesha with a right trunk is rare. One can find these idols mostly in temples. The right trunk signifies the Pingala or the Surya Nadi, representing masculinity. Ganesha’s trunk turned to the right, standing for moksha or freedom from worldly pleasures. The Valampuri Ganesha should be worshipped according to the Vedic customs to attain the maximum benefit. Appropriately worshipping him can bring you immense happiness. Since worshipping the right-trunk Ganesha idol can give you immediate results, people also refer to this Ganesha as Siddhi Vinayaka, i.e., bestower of boons.
In the rich tapestry of Hindu deities, Lord Ganesha, the beloved elephant God, holds a position of profound significance. He resides in the primary chakra, the Mulaadhaara, guiding and orchestrating the intricate dance of life's forces through all other chakras.
Annually, the nation comes alive in celebration of Lord Ganesha's birthday, a jubilant festival known as Ganesha Chaturthi. Elaborate decorations adorn Ganesha idols, intricate pandals spring to life, and fervent worship fills the air. However, amid the revelry, we often neglect the custodian of these festivities - Mother Nature herself. The Visarjan, where Ganesha idols are immersed in water bodies, often results in pollution, as idols crafted from Plaster of Paris and colored with chemical paints disintegrate into our lakes and rivers.
This year, let us honor tradition while embracing sustainability. Let's welcome the “Prakriti Ganesha”, an eco-friendly Ganesha into our homes - a Ganesha crafted from pure clay, adorned with natural gemstone colors. After the Visarjan in your home, this divine presence will blossom into vibrant flowers and sacred herbs within a planter or flowerpot, gracing your home with eternal blessings, and nurturing our precious water bodies. It's time to celebrate Ganesha Chaturthi in harmony with nature.
The festival of Ganesha Chaturthi falls on the 07th of Sep 2024. Celebrate this festival of our favourite Elephant God’s birthday with this beautiful organic hand-crafted Hoysala Style Ganesha. The Ganesha is made out of clay from river beds of three different rivers and the main features have been painted using natural gemstone colours.
