Alphonso is the king of all mangoes. It has been the subject of love songs and poetry for centuries. It is a native to Maharashtra but due to its popularity it is also grown in some parts of Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. Fruit will be delivered in semi ripe state, please wait for the reddish-yellow skin of the fruit to turn a bright saffron color before you cut and enjoy its creamy, sweet taste.
About Farm:
Vijay's Organic, started with a simple goal of reintroducing people to the true taste of mango, takes pride in chemical free organic/natural farming. We believe that mango is the king of all fruits. Prolonged usage of pesticides, fertilizers, ripening agents, and other chemicals has tarnished the brand, mango. VijaysOrganic would like to share with you the taste of this fruit in its pristine form.
Our farms are in the village of Garnimitta, 60kms from Tirupathi, between Chittoor and Kadapa. We grow the following varieties: Himayat, Alphonso, Mallika, Banganapalli, Malgoova, Kesar, and Pedda/Chinna/Cheruku Rasaalu.
We also grow Jamun, in addition to mango.
