Cinnamon buds have a clove like appearance but are actually unopened flowers of the Cinnamon tree harvested just before blooming and shade dried.
This is a rare and unique spice that has a delicate and more floral, winey cinnamon aroma and flavour – mild, pure and sweet. They can be used anywhere you want a lighter cinnamon vibe like in baking, teas, masalas, and so on.
Savera Cinnamon buds’ powder is a finely ground powder of shade dried cinnamon buds harvested from our farm. Try it in your various baked preparations, traditional or contemporary deserts, masala mixes, continental dishes or curries, pulaos and other dishes, herbal or masala teas and enjoy the unique flavour and aroma of this rare spice.
