Geeta Maha
Chinna Rasalu - Natural - 2 Kg
Fruits
A juice variety from Telangana & Andhra Pradesh, which is small in size but heavenly in taste. It is greenish-yellow in colour & gives out a sweet aroma when ripe. Sweet with a tangy tinge & one cannot stop licking fingers when you consume it traditionally i.e. direct juice from mango. Juice can be extracted & frozen for the year. This variety is more fibrous compared to other rasalu varieties
Greenish yellow in colour when ripe, gives heavenly aroma when you smell & it's ready to be consumed. Sweet with a slightly sour tinge.
About Geeta Maha:
Without any background in agriculture, Geeta Maha and her family ventured into conventional farming in 2005. They started with 35 acres of land near Zaheerabad. After some learnings as as a newbie farmer, they switched to horticulture crops and adopted natural farming. They have been following natural farming techniques in their land since then. Apart from selling products from their own farm they also help marginal farmers from the ZBNF community to sell their produce to end consumers.
Fruits delivered will be in raw to the semi-ripe stage. To hasten the ripening you can wrap them in a paper bag. They will develop a lot of wrinkles when ripe - this is perfectly normal. The fruit turns soft and slight yellowish when ripe - you can press gently to judge ripeness. When ripe you can store them in the fridge.
