A juice variety from South India mainly Telangana & Andhra Pradesh. In Telugu, Pedda means big & this variety is huge fibrous & juicy, sweet with a tangy tinge. It is greenish yellow in color & gives out a sweet aroma when ripe. Best for juices & milk shakes. The juice is also had with Chapatis, Pooris & typically with Dosas down south.
