Alphanso mangoes
have shaped the way Indians enjoy the fruit. The alphonso variety takes the spotlight for being the best &most expensive variety.
Cultivated along the konkan coast the fruit is named after the Portuguese emperor Alphanso de Alberqueue who was a military genius established colonies in Goa. They grafted mango plants & once they stumbled on the variety which pleased the king they named it after him.

Hi Everyone! This is Dr.HV Arundathi here, I have an orchard at Chickballapur where I have planted a few Alphansos for personal use. As the trees are growing older they are giving us more crop which I would love to share with all of you so please feel free to relish them as we do. They are naturally grown & sweetened they are our priced possession so we nature them with love & care.
