Certain benefits of Kodampuli are it controls Appetite, helps with digestive ailments, relieves from problems arise due to arthritis, reduce cholesterol, boosts immunity, detoxification of alcohol etc. The juice of Kodampli is extracted as below.
1. The ripe fruit of Kodampuli is collected and remove the seed from it.
2. The flesh of some kodampuli is taken in muslin cloth and tie it tightly.
3. The extracted juice is collected in an earthern vessel and boiled to concentrate.

These are grown in the farms of Mr.Joseph Maprakavil in Mampoil village, Kannur District, Kerala. He has been practicing organic farming in his 20 acres of land which shares its boundary with the forests in Coorg district. His farm is group certified under INDOCERT organic certification.
Kodampuli extract is used in curries as a natural souring agent, beneficial for weight loss. You can store it in room temperature up to one year.
