is a premium and distinctive variety of mango primarily grown in the East Godavari and West Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh, India. Known for its
exceptional sweetness, rich flavor, and unique aroma
, the Thorapudi mango is a regional delicacy that has been cherished for generations.
Appearance : The Thorapudi mango typically has a medium to large size with a slightly oblong or oval shape. Its skin turns a bright golden-yellow when ripe, sometimes with a blush of red or orange on the sun-exposed side. The peel is relatively thin and easy to remove.
Flavor & Texture : This mango is celebrated for its intense natural sweetness , low fiber content , and smooth, buttery pulp . The flesh is deep yellow to orange, juicy, and free from the tanginess found in some other varieties. It melts in the mouth, making it ideal for fresh consumption and desserts.
Aroma : The Thorapudi mango has a strong, pleasant tropical fragrance that intensifies as the fruit ripens. Its aroma is often a key indicator of its ripeness and quality.
About Farm:
Red Hill Organic Farm is a certified natural farm located in Chittoor, nurtured with a passion for sustainable agriculture. After spending 11 years working in Germany, Canada, and Singapore as a Technical Lead Electronics Engineer at Boeing, I returned to my roots to pursue my passion for farming. Today, I cultivate 30 acres of fertile red soil, growing a diverse range of fruits including mango, papaya, sapota, banana, guava, ash gourd, black jamun, and more. We follow traditional cow-based farming methods inspired by Subhash Palekar and Isha Foundation, using rainwater harvesting, Jeev Amrutham, and herbal kashayams to enrich our soil and crops naturally. Our fruits are 100% chemical-free, naturally ripened, and delivered fresh. With over 35 varieties of mangoes, we celebrate the richness of biodiversity while staying committed to sustainable and organic farming.
