This is a delicate Mango grown in Konkan, Maharashtra, and some parts of Karnataka. This mango competes with Alphonso and Kesar in terms of taste and flavour, but not many people know about it outside Konkan.
It is yellow-greenish in color from the outside. This amazing fruit has a yellowish golden color inside with a hue of saffron.
Best for preparing aamras - the most loved Mahastrian dessert. Although aamras is loved across the country, it is the heart and soul of those belonging to the Konkan region.

About the farmer:
Dattu Kesarkar started cultivating this variety of mangoes 14 years back in Devgad Maharashtra, his land is ISO certified where the mangoes are grown. He's following natural farming from last couple of years and growing/ripening these fruits without using any harmful chemicals.
