KNS Organic Farm
Jaggery Block - Certified Organic - 1 kg
Goodies
Jaggery is a powerhouse of nutrients. It contains nutrients like iron, folate, magnesium, zinc, selenium, protein, calcium and potassium.
According to Ayurveda, jaggery has a hot taseer (potency). This means that during the digestion process, jaggery generates heat which further keeps the body warm. Consuming jaggery in winters provides a boost to the metabolism and improves the digestion process.
Note : Sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium hydrosulphite and phosphoric acid are some of the chemical clarificants that you would be consuming when you eat commercially available jaggery. This rampant use of chemicals is one of the reasons traders in Gujarat are against buying jaggery manufactured in Karnataka’s Mandya district. So always choose organic jaggery made using traditional methods
