Sindhura / Rajgiri
is a moderate-sized fruit with a mid-sized seed . At its ripest, it has a reddish patch on the top, which is attached to the tree, while the lower half is all yellow. Pleasing to the eye, this color combination is what makes the fruit stand out. Full of juice, the pulp is yellow, sweet with a bit of tanginess. It is called Rajgiri by the locals due to the red colour which resembles Red Amaranthus( Rajgira )
