Jyothi Red Rice - Organically Grown - 1 KG

This rice is a medium - long grained paddy commonly grown in the vast and picturesque paddy fields of Kuttanad region of Kerala.
The rice is reddish brown in colour and with a long grain structure. It is often par boiled and consumed as boiled rice in Kerala and in the coastal Konkan regions. This Jyothi rice is cultivated in the Petrichor organic farms in the rich, fertile soils of Kannur and Wayanad, Kerala, by following the principles of organic natural farming. It is high in bran and nutrients, and also a natural source of dietary fibre. This particular variety is milled at 60% Bran content.
This rice is soft and palatable for new red rice eaters and can be used as table rice, as well as for making rice preparations such as Spanish Paella !
