Saffron, walnuts, Mamra almonds and various types of berries are grown by residents of this area. Majid is the head of the family living with his wife and three sons. One of his sons hold a doctorate degree in sociology, another one in plant sciences, and his youngest son is a Mechanical Engineer. However, they consider themselves farmers first and work shoulder to shoulder with their father in their own farm.
