Flax seeds are ground and blended with peanuts, sesame, dry coconut & curry leaves to create this flavourful flaxseed curry leaves chutney, popularly known as Jawas Chutney in Maharashtra. Flax seeds are extremely nutritious, rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and full of lignans, which have both plant estrogen and antioxidant qualities. Curry leaves with their anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties make this a superfood chutney! It’s enjoyed as podi (powder) with dosas, appams & stews in the southern states. In Maharashtra, Gujarat & Rajasthan, it is savoured with bhakris, jowar rotis and thalipeeth.
Ingredients : Organic flaxseeds, Organic peanuts, organic sesame seeds, dry coconut, organic dried red chillies, hing, curry leaves, cold-pressed peanut oil, and rock salt.
