Organic Unpasteurised Plum Vinegar with the mother
has been lovingly crafted and nurtured by us for you.
The story of this vinegar began in the month of July 2022, when luscious plums were carefully chosen and harvested from orchards in our Tons Valley. There was a very limited harvest this summer due to severe rains and we could manage barely a few kilos of plums. Thus, we could only make a small batch of plum vinegar.
We crushed the plums and put them to ferment with only the natural yeast and bacteria found on the skins of plums.
Fast forward 3 months, we present to you a beautiful batch of our Himalayan Plum Vinegar.
Take a sip of this vinegar and you will find it to be robust and fruity, bringing a burst of summer to your tongue.
Our vinegar is cloudy, unpasteurised, and has strands of the mother. It is delivered to you as fermented.
Storage: Keep in a cool shaded part of the kitchen cupboard. Our plum vinegar is 'alive' , so please vent the bottle every few days in case the fermentation activates due to warmer weather and results in carbonation.
