Gongura (Sorel leaves) are a tangy leafy green that is commonly used in curries and chutneys. They area rich source of iron, vitamin C, anti-oxidants, calcium, iron, zinc and vitamin A.
The Gongura may be of either green stem variety or red stem variety based on what is ready for harvest that day.
