Custard apple, also called Sharifa or Sita Phal is a native of Tropical Americas and West Indies, and was brought to Asia by Spanish traders. The soft vanilla like pods with a divine flavour and are known for promoting hearth health, being beneficial in pregnancy, improving vision, and mitigating arthritis.
The variety listed is a very well balanced variety in taste and shelf life called Phule Purandar with good fruit weight and high TSS (indicator of sweetness) compared to other usual varieties grown in Maharasthra like Balanagar.
We bring these Custards from Mahesh Poman's farm. Each fruit weight will range from 100 - 200 gms.

Mahesh Poman has been practicing cow based farming in his 4 acres of land in Sasawad Near Pune. He is growing Custard Apple, Guava, Figs and Pomegranates without any use of chemicals. For soil nourishment he has been using cow dung and goat droppings. For pest control he is using neem oil, sour buttermilk sprays. He is also working with natural farmers in his region helping them to get market access.
Fruits delivered will be at varying stage of ripening based on your delivery date.
