Yellow Jowar - Organic - 500 GM
Staples
Yellow Jowar is a variety of sorghum, a hardy cereal grain cultivated primarily in semi-arid regions. Known for its pale-yellow kernels, Yellow Jowar is a staple in many Indian diets, especially in states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. It is a gluten-free grain, rich in dietary fiber, protein, and essential minerals.
Yellow Jowar tastes similar to traditional sorghum but with a slightly richer, fuller flavor. There's also a very mild bitterness, especially noticeable when it's milled.
Making jowar rotis is one of the most common ways to eat it. But it can be used to make kichadi after soaking it for minimum 7-8 hours
