These eggs are laid by different breeds of native chickens which Arshad has collected and multiplied over the course of 7 years, The varieties include Aseel, Kairali and the common south Indian Naati Chickens.
Unlike commercially grown chicken, Naati Chicken are selective in what they eat, they don’t simply go on a pecking spree. They select their greens, peck on insects and feed on grains and time to time feast on Papaya, tamotoes and other fresh farm produce which Arshad provides.
About TOB Farm:
TOB Farm is run by Arshad, He has 7 years of experience in organic farming. His farming activities are spread over 10 acre in Devanahalli, has lot of native mango trees, he also grows a few types of vegetables there. However the main attraction of the farm are the Poultry , he has good number of Kadaknath, Aseel, Kairali and Naati Chickens along with Ducks, Guinea Fowl, Turkeys and a few sheep and goat.
