Fresh figs were a luxury in ancient times due to its highly perishable nature so these prized fruit were dried and used in almost all ancient culture ranging from the Greeks to Arabs
Dried figs can be enjoyed as a moist and delicious snack that provides a wealth of health benefits. Their natural sweetness and unique texture also makes them a wonderful addition to both savory and sweet dishes. We bring these dried figs from R K Reddy.
These are grown and dried by the farmer himself and unlike store bought ones these are not boiled in sugar. You will find them less sweet than what you may have got used to when buying in supermarkets.
Figs are rich in antioxidants, which protect our cells from damage caused by free radicals. Also rich in various essential minerals like potassium, calcium, and magnesium, which can help regulate blood pressure, support bone development, and control blood sugar levels.
