These Red peanuts/groundnuts are grown using zero budget natural farming techniques without any chemical fertilizers or pesticides. These are more tastier and nutritious compared to regular variety. You can easily roast them at home, or use them for making chutneys or in dishes like poha. Groundnuts are an extremely good source of protein, heart healthy fats and minerals such as magnesium, calcium, zinc, potassium, phosphorus etc. Groundnut skins are very rich in antioxidants.
These groundnuts are grown naturally at the farms of highly regarded Jagadeesh Reddy in Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh. He has been following natural farming methods in 40 acres of land. He is also working with other group of farmers in the region promoting natural farming practices.
