Palmyra Sprouts is a native seasonal produce local to Tamil Nadu and other South Indian states. It is usually sown in the months between August and November. And the young root is harvested between December and February. It is a delicacy enjoyed especially during Pongal festivities.
The Palmyra Sprouts Flour is our attempt to make this delicacy more accessible and more diverse in its uses. The flour can be used to make halwas, laddoos, porridge / kanji. It can be added to your chapathi dough or dosai batter to add more fibre and nutrition to your diet.
