Let us share with you the story behind 'Natural Herbal Jaggery'. This is an embodiment of efforts we put into making Soilaroma farm produce the best in all aspects.
Natural - Nature's tendency of creating harmony in surrounding systems really fascinates us and is a driving force for all decisions at soilaroma. At soilaroma we provide crops with the same type of environment as they would have received in natural circumstances, we avoid any and all kinds of chemical use in our farm. Use of naturally made fertilizers like jeevamrut, panchgavya, waste decomposer and dashparni ark ensures that soil gets enough replenishment after each harvest cycle. Our slow farming approach ensures that crop gets enough time to fully grow in completely natural environment and be packed with nutrients.
Herbal - Innovation is inherent quality of human, our search for novelty in all aspects of life has given us so many great innovations, at soil aroma we also keep innovation at heart, to help today's generation get maximum nutrition from food source we created a perfect blend of jaggery and 5 organic ingredients sourced mostly from forest regions which not only improves taste of jaggery but also provides various health benefits. Jaggery - jaggery is a sweetner which is not new to Indians, use of jaggery dates back to ancient times evident from mention of jaggery in ayurvedic texts. Jaggery is a perfect alternative to the sugar providing essential minerals and vitamins along with sweetness which are missing in sugar.
About Soilaroma
This is Sumit Kinikar from Bhilawadi, a small lovely village on the banks of the Krishna River in Maharashtra's Sangli district. We are fortunate to have beautiful fields surrounding the villages, as well as rich biodiversity, thanks to the river Krishna.
I am a fourth-generation farmer who has been operating our farm in a completely organic manner under the brand name SOILAROMA since January 2019. At Soilaroma, we believe in reviving long-forgotten ancient farming practises and inventing innovative ways to boost the nutritional value of farm produce with the goal of eliminating artificial chemical content in our food.
We are also working on regenerative farming with a zero-waste concept where we control and compensate for CO2 released during farming and processing activity. We are also working on multi-cropping, slow farm practice, traditional & ethical processing and eco-friendly packaging models to create a sustainable environment within the farm. With a mission to protect our native seeds, which are capable of handling India's weather conditions easily, we cultivate only indigenous crops.
