Naturally flavored, aromatic and sweet Yellaki is healthier option among bananas because they are higher in fiber and calories. Yellaki is the most cultivated Banana in the south, as its preferred over the larger robusta .
Contrary to what you may have thought, the name Elaichi or Yelakki has been given to these bananas because of their small size and not the flovor
Note on Ripening : At Farmizen we don't use artificial ripening agents to ripen the Bananas, so Bananas will be shipped Semi ripe state, to ripen these quickly place bananas in a brown paper bag and close loosely. Natural ethylene will build up and circulate within the bag, speeding up the ripening process. Place a ripe fruit such as an apple or tomato in the bag as well to speed up this process.
