Gondhoraj Lemon - Organically Grown - 500 GM
Vegetables
This reclusive member of the lime family and a distant cousin of Kaffir lime, is called Gondhoraj - which means "the king of aromas".
From livening up dal, to complimenting a fish dish, to making a more flavorful version of the shikanji - the gondhoraj is versatile in its uses, and is one of Eastern India's best kept culinary secrets.
A love child of mandarin orange and common lime, Gondhoraj comes with a thick skin, but the drops of ambrosia that you can squeeze out from them draws everyone out to the dining table.
Here are some recipes as well - https://cookpad.com/in/search/gondhoraj
Gondhoraj Chicken, Gondhoraj flavoured icecream, Gondhoraj Pulav, Gondhoraj Bhetki Curry - we are going to be very busy later this week !

You can expect some differences in the nature of the aroma of these Gondhoraj Lemons, with the Gondhoraj grown in West Bengal and Assam. While the saplings have been brought from Bengal and Assam, the exact aroma characteristic is highly dependent on the soil on which it is grown.
