Raisins are a superior source of the B-complex vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, and have also have minor amounts of Vitamin C, E & K. It is a dense source of minerals like calcium, magnesium, potassium, manganese, iron, fluoride, boron, copper and zinc.
These raisins are not sun dried but made by allowing grapes to lose moisture in the shade. Check out the slideshow of the product photos above to view the arrangement in which raisins have been made. These raisin are made out of naturally grown grapes from the farms of Dattaji Kore from Sangli. He has been following natural farming for past 7 years. Regular use of jeevamrut , Ghana jeevamrut for soil nourishment and inter-cropping including turmeric, drumsticks and pulses, has been followed. For pest control he has been using buttermilk, turmeric, neem oil sprays. Also Dattaji has been actively involved in encouraging farmers in the region to switch to natural farming.
You can store them at room temperature in dry containers upto 4-5 months. If refrigerated, they can last upto two years.
